We may even buy a brand as a result of an advertisement we had seen or because the packaging looked good or perhaps we liked the store display.

Market research attempts to identify what these influences are and how much of an affect they can have on our ability to make a purchasing decision in favour of one product over another. To make this fair, we need the opinions of a wide range of people. People of different ages, ethnic backgrounds, locations and most of all people who make purchasing decisions.
